A Foodie's Guide to St Christopher's Place
Long gone are the days when England was known for ‘bad food’.
Today London’s restaurants, bars and cafés are ranked some of the best in the world.
That’s why when you stay in one of our beautiful apartments in St Christopher’s Place, the only problem you’ll face every day is having too many enticing choices for each meal!
Stay long enough and you can sample them all, but to make things easy for your first day, here are your top foodie must-dos:
Workshop Coffee Co. – London finally has a decent coffee scene, and these guys are at its forefront. This branch of their enterprise is basically just a hole in the wall, but you’ll want to get your caffeine fix from here above anywhere else – the coffee is excellent and the staff are lovely.
Café Rouge – a relaxed French bistro with a seasonal menu, it’s a great place to fuel up on some oeufs bénédicte before leaping into a day of sightseeing (or meetings, if you’re visiting London on business).
Patty & Bun –renowned as serving one of London’s best burgers, don’t be surprised to see queues outside the place all day long. The menu is simple; basically you’re there to try the burger and the triple-cooked rosemary salted fries.
Dinner and drinks
Cocochan – delicious and diverse pan-Asian fusion food and cocktails, under one roof. Cocochan is a sophisticated dinner spot with dishes from Chinese, Japanese, Thai & Korean cuisines, as well as more unique delicacies from further regions.
Ultimately, there is a smorgasbord of incredible dining options to choose from at St Christopher’s Place. Japanese, Spanish, Lebanese, British – there’s something to suit every taste.
One thing to remember if you’re staying at St Christopher’s Place in one of our stylish apartments – you also have the option of cooking for yourself, with your own kitchen! Or, you know – get takeaway and spend the night in. What else are holidays for??
