Easter 2017 in London - something for every-bunny!
Easter is such a wonderful holiday in the city – the spring weather, the daffodils and the abundance of chocolate make for happy Londoners and visitors alike. This Easter long weekend you can indulge your sweet tooth, revere some religious history, entertain the kids (or yourself) searching for eggs, or all of the above!
Here’s a few of the great things happening in and around London this Easter, conveniently located close to our stylish apartments.
For travel bunnies
Passing through St Pancras International station? There are a bunch of Easter-themed competitions and festivities (including, of course, an egg hunt)
For style bunnies
Don’t miss the St Christopher’s Place ‘hanging garden’, a unique plant based installation crafted from ferns, vines and clusters of moss, growing within an urban surrounding. Oh, and did we mention that surrounding is filled with some of London’s best boutique shops and al fresco restaurants?
You could also grab a classy afternoon tea in one of London’s quirkiest, cutest venues (and on Easter Sunday there’ll be an egg hunt thrown in to boot) – at Sketch London in Soho.
For family bunnies
Take the journey down south to beautiful Kew Gardens in bloom. They’ll be giving out Lindt chocolates at the gates on Easter Sunday and enchanting visiting families with a Moomin-themed Easter adventure!
Trusty Selfridges has an Eggsibition filled with fun workshops for the kids, Easter crafts, an egg hunt and more.
At the most lavish Piccadilly food hall - Fortnum & Mason – the kids can partake in egg or chocolate decorating, OR you can learn how to cook a proper Easter Feaster dinner with the executive Chef, Sydney Aldridge.
For any bunny
The Wintershall Players will once again take to Trafalgar Square to perform The Passion of Jesus on Good Friday. With a cast of more than 100 spectacularly costumed actors and volunteers, the whole thing will be filmed and cast to big screens so it should be visible, even among the crowd.
